To empower people to prevent child sexual abuse by raising awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child sexual
abuse by educating adults about the steps they can take to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to the reality of child sexual abuse. This includes the mandated reporter training.
Participants will:
1. Receive and overview of child sexual abuse, and abuse in general.
2. Review the consequences of child sexual abuse.
3. Discuss strategies to react to abuse disclosure.
4. Review Wisconsin Mandated Reporter materials.
