This training will increase your awareness about developmental screening and the statewide effort to encourage developmental screening for all young children. We will explore the evidence-based ASQ-3 and discuss the role of early childhood professionals as partners in the promotion and use of the ASQ-3 with families. There will be homework for this training; the training along with the homework will amount to 4 hours of Registry credit.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to define & discuss the benefits of developmental screening
Participants will be able to understand basic ASQ-3 terminology & describe features of the tool
Participants will be able to Score the ASQ-3
Participants will be able to describe ASQ-3 cutoff scores & interpret ASQ-3 information in relation to other referral considerations
